There will be 2 twins on the engine auction you must have seen post telling about it. They will go to the highest bidder.

The workmanship stands out a mile in those photos: notice that the nuts and studs are not painted, meaning each casting is done separately before assembly.  Not a quick and dirty coat over everything when assembled.

I'd say you're going to get what you pay for in this case, maybe more, and I don't even know who the seller is.

New to the forum and to listers in general, but hooked on the idea. I've been following the threads of the UK engines being placed on auction. Do you have a list of what is available for bid and what's been sold?

Thanks, Brendan

For anyone wanting pictures for the auction engines it seems they have expired from skydive. I am in the process of getting new ones. Mike

It might be useful to post a link to the new location?

There isn't one yet, that's the point.... I'm sure as soon as the pix are back, the location will be revealed.

Personally, I'd suggest the Lister Engine Gallery, as linked in the news box...
Cheers!
Ade.

The auction shipement is still planned. The orginal container where everyone bought their own engines will still happen. I just needed to make some changes. I will not affect delivery of either shipement. Mike

If I had the money I'd buy every Lister CS that comes up for sale and keep them here in Blighty where they belong.  ;D

Maybe you'd have room in the Royal Museum once you return all the pilfered treasures of the world to where they belong.
