2 stroke oil
« on: June 18, 2010, 08:10:01 PM »
Hello
I thought I would mention that I've burnt (with a 15% petrol diesel mix) 205 litres of Total red 2 stroke oil.
There was less white ash and carbon than when I used waste sump oil, but I suppose that is to be expected.
I've just collected 3000 litres  of WMO, so should be alright of a while.
Cheers
Matthew

Hi Spencer,

I hope you know some of us are paying $12 a gallon for two stroke mix oil or are you talking about something completely different?

Hi Casey,
Some one I know was given it by his landlord  and then he lost his store space so gave it to me.
I did think I could have put it in to small bottles and sold  it on eBay but thought people would't buy it.
I kept about 10 litres for my chain saw and brush cutter which will last me for years.
Kept the lights on for a few weeks though.
Cheers
Matthew
