Hooking up to panel

Anyone have some simple step by steps to hook a generator and transfer switch up to electrical panel?

Actually im looking for something to show me what to do with the 4 wires coming out of the generator?  Yeh I'm green.

Its a simple as 1,2, 3

1.... pick up yellow pages, and look up Electrician

2.... pick a time and date for him.her to come out and hook it up

3.... pay the bill... be happy your alive, your house is ok and your insurance is not voided

Im serious, this is not for beginners... its dangerous

Dam Straight!
  Either crack the books and learn your stuff, or pay someone who does.  An electrician is way cheaper than a trip to the hospital or courtroom, or a visit from the local fire department to put out the fire...
