In August 2009, I joined the club and bought one of those little CAT diesels. Observing the posts of others and follow advice, I've slowly picked up a few things items: exhaust system, K&N air cleaner, etc. The big holdup is deciding on what to do about the PTO and side loading. I've had a ST 8 generator head sitting on the floor while I built out my Metro 6/1 and now I've got some tie to work on the CAT.

From last year’s posts: Panceabeachbum, Randybee1, Bantor, Skl, Car54, xyzer, Rocketboy, and others. Please advise how your CAT builds turn out, what are your recommendations if you had it to do again. I would appreciate the benefit of your experiences since I am horse poor = husband of horse owning wife doesn’t leave much money for my hobbies.
