please get me up to speed Sid, I have read every single post in the petter section and was under the impression that the run away issue were the Ash petters sold thru utterpower and not the kissans solt thru altpro , but other than reading here and some indian airplane engines I have no experience with indian diesels.
The air cleaner was not bolted in place, just sitting loosley on there for the pics , very easy to lift straight off if the need to smother arises . I am very interested to hear any comments or advice on how to improve this engine , although the indian build procedures are a little third world I would think this engine would/could have the potential to be a very good engine.
It does look to be slideing around a bit in the video but I have a number of US made petrol burners as well as a couple of high qaulity german diesels that make that video look like the petter isnt even running. Compared to my 10 hp aircooled petter single the little indian engine is very tame . The brit built air cooled is turning a 6kw 3phase gen and jumps up and down like a whacker packer
