Been snopping around the net looking for Turbos of this type on small engines....

This engine later on exploded nicely

buickanddeere,

"On diesels engines, too little air produces hot exhaust temps."  "MAYBE" ???

For you that might be true on paper, but in the real world, when your waiting for the equilibrium between slightly over fueling (too hot) to over fueling (only slightly cooler) you just might have melted a piston or two in the process.

Believe me, I know, been there done that!!

Ok,  I guess I will bite.  I like bringing little things in from China, and I like turbos, so I will put some feelers out.  Any body have any specs that they would like me to ask for????

Well 2 things , Chinese turbo's are rubbish and where would the pressure oil feed for the bearing's come from ?
Numerous friends and acquaintances in the performance car world have been lured by these cheapy puffers , but it's always ended in tears.

As well as the turbo lube supply, there will be issues with crank/rod lube if relying on splash while upping the powerby 'gobs', if that were the way you wanted to go.  Even, I  would think, with hollow dippers.  Remember oil is a coolant as well as a lube.

The turbo would INCREASE the temperature of the air even more unless an aftercooler was installed. A mechanically driven supercharger would be a much easier installation on a Lister than a turbo if you wanted to go this route Finding a solution to reduce intake air temp would be a better solution though.

Ok, ok, ok....

I have to ask.

Anyone ever considered an electric leaf blower? (laughable in the "ricer" world when placed on a car)

The engine runs at a relative constant speed. When used in a generator application, there is an easy supply of AC power. I don't think one needs a lot of boost, just enough to overcome the restriction of the air filter.

Meh, musings that's all.....

I dont think you would ever move the volume at pressure needed to make any effect. There are some decent paxton rotary vane compressors at surplus center every so often that would be up to the task . Google "Centrifugal superchargers"
