banford z10 ground pounder

went to see a buddys direct inj banford 800rpm to see the practicality of running my 8 pole gen with it. runs w/almost no vibes or mechanical noise but, it sends the combustion knock into the ground that can be felt standing on a tree root 50 ft away. we put about 3000 watts of load on it . it was solid mounted to slab footing. this engine would be a candidate for some sort of flexable isolator. any ideas? rubber,wire rope,or viscous?  mike a
