Listeroid position
« on: May 08, 2009, 12:31:25 AM »
Hi all, I’m building a Listeroid ST generator set.
What have you guys found to work better, intake and exhaust toward the ST head. Or tappet side to ST head?
Thanks!

Hi there WGB,
Most guys will mount the engine with the crankcase door facing away from the generator head, giving easy access to the crankcase for cleaning, changing the oil & doing engine maintainence.

WGB, what kind of roid do you have anyways? Usually the intake, exhaust and tappets are on the same side :) most popular mounting is ST to the left with belt on the rear pulleys.

I have a Metro made in 2008, it was very clean. I went through the engine from top to bottom anyway.
You are correct exhaust, intake, and tappets are on the same side, my mistake.
You guys got me the answer I was looking for though.
Thanks
