15km 3 phase st head wiring question
« on: April 17, 2009, 12:04:55 AM »

Got a 15kw 3 phase ST head here, and I have some wiring questions...on the "138-240 volt" diagram it looks like I have to put jumper bars between the terminals---is this true because the gen didn't come with the bars. It was originally wired for 480v and it didn't have jumper bars.

Sorry, all the photos are in listerenginegallery under tlfrantz1                      Label                      New doghouse                      My gen

Yea, you are correct, you need three jumper bars in there to make the switchover, you can use some apropreatly sized wire & ring terminals. i would use XHHW or THHN insulation if you can find it. not sure what they would call such things on that side of the pond.
