   While I have to agree that it probably ain't the most intelligent use of funds, I think it has something to do with the phenomenon called "RUSH". Young guys are more likely to be affected than us more mature.
   If you get off on raw power,and loud noise,it'll make your day.

I use 2.5'' stainless steel pipe for my lister, I found it on epay, the shop is called jbimotorsport and they sell pipe in 1.2 metre lengths, bends, etc.
I have no connection other than I bought some pipe and found it to be good quality and great service.

P.S.  I send my pipe into a concrete exhaust pit 2' underground and back up outside the shed, can't hear a thing outside.
