does your system switchover to grid or inverter?

Nope.  It' would shut down on high temp if it did!

Thumper is now set up to turn herself off when the coolant temperature goes up a little bit beyond normal and the whole thing works a treat ! I turn it on with my electric start and I walk away. When the hot water storage tanks are up to temperature Thumper turns off. The house is at an incredibly even 70C. Needless to say, I have a great big grin on my face and I enjoy long hot showers way more than before :)

There remains a ton of small jobs here and there surrounding the entire project but I can sit back in the knowledge that I am now 100% operational.

Woohoo! Not sure I needed to know about the showers, though...  :o  ::)  ;D

Yay Jens!
You just keep on doing your thing and sharing the results.  I, for one, have enjoyed hearing of your progress!
