alternative project for a 25/2
« on: April 13, 2006, 03:42:20 AM »
for the last several years i have wanted to build a C cab replica of an old mack or white, flat bed.

nothing too big, maybe a 6 by 6 foot bed, and a small diesel. something to plug around in.

my buddy told me to use the 25/2 lister, and i have to tell ya it makes me smile just thinking about it. to hell with the EPA :)

or maybe a trike, now that would be tool cool

i know, i know, i guess i am feeling a bit crazy tonight.

but you have to admit a 25/2 on a trike would be killer :)

A bike/trike project with a Lister would be the antithesis of the crotch rocket.  Most likely handle like a pig on roller skates, but climb any hill you'd like to point it at.

You'd get noticed a lot.  Might be fun at a Harley rally.

Send pics when your done.

Finest regards,

troy

Bob;

A few months ago I bought an instruction booklet off Ebay - it shows that Lister did put an engine in a 3 wheeled trike.  I was going to build one but got off on a different tangent (i.e. NO TIME!)  Let me know if you want it,

John Ferguson.
