« on: March 03, 2009, 03:26:07 AM »
What I have is a 17.2 kw  FW wilson gen set run by a lister motor  A Generac HTS transfer switch was installed  150 amp   120/208   need to have the a way for the generac switch to switch the gen off and on. I understand that the gen.set will start with a   no  relay  but need a way for the generac to  open and close a relay  does any know what i need to do

Switch operation is instigated by the generator controller.

Read the manual.....

Remote start, stop and transfer through GenLinkĀ® Communications Software...

You might be able to program this one todo what you want...its in the manual...

Software probably is expensive.....and hard to reprogram if the thing isnt making power to run the computer...

Cheers

looks like you need an h-100 controller to interface with the HTS. try this link, the gen-link software would be useful for remote monitoring though.

Heres the page for the HTS manual but they require the model & serial number to access the info so i could not look at it.
