not sure who Burrel are...
I was at a Tractor pull a few years ago and a smaller traction engine than a Burrell showed up all the Aircraft and Dragster engined pullers up by doing a full pull easily !! Took it's time but could have done the measured distance and more !!
The Traction engines advantage of course is that it produces full torque as soon as the crank turns. Turn around between runs is normally only about 5 mins or so. Very grass roots sport but some how addictive !! My favourite pullers are the modified Tractors with triple compound turbo installations boosting to 200 PSI !!! Many a crankcase becomes victim to those forces !!
