Okay here's the deal - I found this over a week ago and emailed the seller asking if he was willing to ship it.  He won't...

It's killing me because I really, really want it, but I'd rather it go to a good home than the scrap guy so I'm publicizing my find.

Somebody down there please grab it.

If nobody has the $$$ but would be willing to pick it up, crate or strap it to a pallet and ship it to me via Forward Air (or any reasonably priced shipper), I'd be more than happy to pay them for their trouble...  I'm located in Tacoma, WA and it's simply too far from me at this point.

I figure that I'll give this site a day or two before adding it to the Smokstak site just so the real Lister guys have a shot at it.  I just don't want to see it get scrapped...

Again, if someone would be willing to help me out by shipping it, I'd be all over it...

I dunno if I could even stand to meet the seller. The scrap guy will probably give him $50 for it, but he'd rather do that than take $400 for it when he wants $550..?    What a hole...

I'm just focused on the end game not the guy in between.

I was very disappointed in his reply back to me early on as I offered to pay him for his time if he'd help me with the shipping...  I received back a jerkwad reply...

At that point, he thought it was siezed because he didni't know about the compression release levers...

I would just love to figure out a way to get it.

My guess is it weighs about 600 - 700 lbs or so (just a guess).

MacGyver - You could do it. You are close enough. If you need some way to haul it, you could probably put it in your Vanagon.

How about borrowing your brother-in-law's old pickup and posing as a junkman.  Better price.  Now there's a tool even I could enjoy.
