Do all of these mini petters have governor trouble? The reason I ask, is a freind has 2 Petter clones that I am storing on the farm for him that he uses to run cool rooms in our outback for pet food chillers. They would have to be at least 20 years old, and only the smallĀ one hasĀ been rebuilt . They are full size engines, one 6 HP and the other 12 HP 2 cylinder, and as far as I know they have never done a thing wrong in 20 years of intermitent work. They are "INDEC" engines made by the Indian Engine Company (or thats what it says on the tag) air cooled and they even have the Petter diamond stamped into the air cowling, just no Petter name. They look like they could be made using the old English tooling, does anyone know if Lister - Petter sold off the tooling for the old Petter series engines?
Se ya
