I belong to a Honda Motorcycle forum as well and they are having a very similar heated oil debate over brands. Mobil-1 vs Royal Purple. They don't play as nice there though. I'ts a rough crowd set in there way's.
FWIW: I run cheap tractor grade straight 30 dino oil in BigGreen so I can filter and burn it once removed.
