please excuse my ignorance but why is veg oil preferred to red diesel in. uk its around the same price. red starts better. garry

1) you get a chance to wear a green hat.
2) internal parts (pump, injector) get lots more lube from bio-diesel than low-sulfur pump diesel

not "cleaner" (maybe emissions are lower) but it uses waste fry oil, and no dino oil (except what was used to process the veg oil)!
