threatening the admin
« on: April 06, 2008, 05:35:52 AM »
ok.. i got a threatening letter from a "member" because he wanted a public apology from another "member" and if he didnt get it threatened me and threatened to drag me to court.... my answer is banning him... i dont care who is right or wrong.. new rule.. no threatening the admin. if you cant handle the heat of public discussion go elsewhere.

Agree totally.

Plus, this is a hobby forum, not commercial, and opinions are those of the members, not the forum provider.

Do we get to know who it was??  ;)

Good move. You aren't responsible for what people say here and you do make an attempt of keeping things civel. You don't need the hassels.

The shear depth of my shallowness is perplexing yet morbidly interesting. Bob 2007

why should this place be any different.

do we all have to agree on everything? i certainly hope not!

seems like everyone wants to sue somebody for something.

do some folks just thrive on turmoil, stress and bullshit?

I saw that thread and never did figure out what the heck was going on.
Never threaten the admin - when you have extra time, look up the
"Bastard Operator from Hell " series of tales - many versions about the same guy

Bob, I am just the Moderator.  This was a threat to the guy who owns the place.... Bad Carma, and silly move

I dont know who it was, I guess I could find out easy enough, but in the grand view of the world WTF does it matter?  I agree with and support the ADMINS actions 100%.  For God's sake this is the Internet!!

Now, everyone move along, nothing to see at this train wreck :D

IF ADMIN wants to share, he will share.  Frankly you would not believe it, I was shocked.

It's a bit odd isn't it?  It's like threatening a referee in a game.  Very unsportsmanlike.  I'm not surprised he got the red card!
