I worked as an apprentice under a very old and set in his ways ref, man// good but time had passed him by// he believed the only reason ice cream was not hard enough was there was too much of it to stay frozen./so when the home owner left the room... he would sit down and eat about half of it///he never bought lunch// always made a sandwich in the customers ref. take it to the truck and have lunch/// times have changed//in the 60-70 s never saw a house wife dressed until noon.// the good ole days///sid

Ya I can see that.

Tempted to tell you a long story about the wonders of the 3M cold shrink stress cone and how it has taken the art of skinning and taping and turned it into " any hack with an electrician's liscence can do ".

But I won't people will not as easily identify my golded age story with yours.....
Ice cream stories are hard to beat.
