New Changfa arrival
« on: February 12, 2008, 10:33:12 PM »
Hi All,

Got my new 195 Changfa. Eventualy it will be coupled to a 5kW gen-head. Probably direct coupling drive.
Almost dislocated my shoulder when trying to start it.
Good inspiration to get the starter motor wired up :-)

I am building a web site to convey the stages of my projects.
A very crude page is up and running at:

www.logicworks.ca

For Changfa enthusiasts, take a look at my site. I have some videos of the engine's maiden run.

Cheers,
Veggie

Do you plan on selling a service or product from your website?
Do you have any pics of your biodiesel system?

Oh, that's Korean. Don't know what it says but I know Korean characters. Guess that's why I always got lost in Korea and ended up in all those bars. ;D

Yes......

Kub and yanmar build a lot like that so its logical the Chinese are producing them now too.
Some have had a bad reputation for shaking apart but this engine seems to run very smooth

Hi Doug,

I don't plan on selling anything services through the website.
It's an unused site I own through my company, Logicworks (Software).
I intend to use the site for sharing information with this forum and another Biodiesel forum as my projects progress.
Not sure if/when I will sell one of the engines, but I will post it here first.

It seems there is a growing number of Changfa users in north America.
It's too bad the USA stopped imports on these engines due to EPA regulations.
If Changfa can get their act together and get these engines EPA approved, I'm sure they could sell a lot.
Semi-slow speed, built like a tank, and reasonably priced.
GO CHANGFA !!
