1935 CS For Sale
« on: February 23, 2006, 01:18:10 PM »
Thought this would be of interest..eBay # 6607971433    under $35 now...
It is such a fine old machine I would almost feel guilty putting her to work... this one looks like it should be prettied up for show.....
This from a guy who snow plowed this morning with a tractor almost of the same vintage....

Of course I have an interest in this... that's why I posted it...just not a finacial interest blah blah blah..usual disclaimer...

List,

Here is an opportunity for someone in the UK to get themselves a running 5/1 6hp Lister.

With about 2 hours to run the price is up to £205  ($360).

Guy & List,

Shame we didn't bet,

It went for £250  or $438.

My max was £250 and I was just outbid by "Gnome", who had probably set his max bid yesterday sometime.

Nevermind, plenty more Listers out their for the taking.

The 20 foot contained is scheduled for September and will hold upto 36 crated engines.

time for bed,

Really?  Do you have any details worked out, such as the port of delivery?  You'll note that Washington State is a hotbed of Listerism.  Coincidentally that is where I live as well ;)

This one sits on its own trucks, with what looks like an original fuel tank etc.  You have to suck it into photoshop and diddle with the light levels to actually see it but it looks very nice.  Only 3 days left.
