I think the important part os how wellt he engine is balanced. Mine hardlt shakes a glass fo water rite as it arived with factory partys. I did nothing to it. It is mounted on 4 4x6's and I ran it a long time before I actually fastened it down. Several weeks I think. when I first started it on the floor, it didn't walk either. It sets on top of two burried rr ties, but it still didn't move. Others have serious problems, but I think the  problem is from bvibration. 700 pounds jumping up and down is hard to hold down.
The shear depth of my shallowness is perplexing yet morbidly interesting. Bob 2007

I'm always amazed at how narrow the wooden skids are on these engines.  They look like you can push them over sideways with your little finger, until you remember the physics of a flywheel turning that has the energy those do.  Ever played with a spinning top?  You probably couldn't even topple them by hitting them with a Ford 350, eh Jens?
