WVO Injection Timing
« on: February 23, 2006, 05:32:12 AM »
Has anyone who is running WVO figured out what the proper fuel injection setting is?  I saw one suggestion of 13BTDC, does it work well?

Thanks,
Scott

Lowering the viscosity of VO by heating it has the effect of changing the timing.
Heat it to a temp of 200-300°F and it changes fuel ignition timing signifincantly.

Welcome Dana,
You sir, have a marvelous website, and I appreciate your search for "fuel truth". Most all of the knowledge has been around for at least 100 years, but the oil industry is not inclined to share its secrets!

My three "golden" rules are heat, and/or treat, and/or dilute. Heat is certainly first.

Fuddy Duddy reads every crumb here, but rarely posts.
