Tucked away in the 1949 Diesel Engine Catalog, Volume 14 1949 is what looks like the Petters AV Series I diesel engine, in single and twin cylinder forms.
The text acknowledges the source of the engine, but does not specifically say they are a Petters AV model.
Designated the 5/1 and 10/2 (where have we heard that before??) 5hp and 10hp at 1500rpm.
I suspect that the Series I was fairly quickly replaced by the Series II.
Has anyone come across one that is this early?
