1936 Hydro-Electric Station

I had an overnight run to Scotland and back yesterday, we have just supplied a second dual-110V DC charger and distribution board to the regional utility.

The station was built on 1936 as part of the Galloway Water Scheme to supply power to the Galloway Peninsular.

The station has a couple of water turbines, powered by water stored in a lake upstream of the station. It only runs at peak afternoon/evening times.

When I go back for the system commissioning I'll take the camera.
