Burning man Listeroid
« on: October 05, 2007, 04:43:28 AM »
http://jt.france2.fr/13h/#

Just heads up this is all in French, and the roid is at the end of the news cast. There's also a naked woman or two. I didn't realy listen I was looking for the Roid that is suposed to be running on wood gas ( hope it works ).

The stone hippies need to take a bath and get jobs....

English but no picture of the roid but mention of Fisher Tropsh so it may be the roid is running on home made diesel fuel from solids.

Some folks are so weird they SHARE it!!!

A couple of friends that made BM this year told me of a Vandegraf generator set up to wow the crowd with sparks that reached out many feet and extended over the heads of  the (dummies) standing up close.   One guy, obviously turbocharged his towering intellect with chemicals, stretched his hand up to 'feel the power'.   The guy hidden in the back of the truck running the controls obliged him.  My friend said it was a GOOD thing to see!!!  But it smelled bad!!

I don't mind a good show of anything, but from what I have seen on TV, this " what ever it is is " not for me.

But Iwould like to know what was going on with that Listeroid

There are several events where a tactical nuke would be handy.  Burning Man occurs in a place well suited for it.

Blackrock Desert is where the land speed records are now set...Bonneville, 350 miles east is usually too thin on salt to run, now.

Blackrock IS fun when the hippies are not there.  I used to have to drive across it to an account (gold mine) and it's fun to just mash the pedal and see how fast it goes...   ;D
