Thanks for the advice.I may get a wee bit carried away when I remove it and  have a little go at it.If the injector looks like the spray is good then maybe I will see if i can get that rack smoothed out.Its like if you use the cutoff valve then the next time you start it you have to give the rack a little tug.Linkage all seems free so the rack is the go to part.Is there an exploded view anywhere on the web?? By the way, though I am learning real fast I am no Lister expert ! I was quoting from an email that Peter Forbes in England sent me.He is truly the Lister expert with page after page of specs and info on his website.Probably the greatest collection of factory Lister info out there. P.

Actually at 6'1" 300 lbs I have trouble keeping the drawers up LMAO.Not many engine collectors in the Highlands here but occasionally meet up with one.Petawawa-is that an Indian name for a liquid cooled petters ?? Oh dear God I gotta go I'm gonna have an accident.
