Lister cs 6/1 base
« on: May 31, 2007, 10:49:57 PM »
Hi, My brother has joined the happy throng and bought himself a Lister 6/1 (Genuine)
The engine came bare and he is going to be coupling it up to an st3 head.

He wants to build it all up on an oak frame with iron wheels. He is not going to be carting the set around and I said that for a permanent instalation, he should be looking at a channel section frame as it will be stronger and not shake around so much.

Whats your opinion???

OH Oh.....Now you've gone and done it!  Do a search on "Concrete Base"  ;D
Stan
On second thought it's much harder to find than that, there's a couple of threads devoted to "how much concrete do you have to have to anchor a Lister" somewhere on here with waaaaay too much information in them.
