Flame starter
« on: March 18, 2007, 11:29:29 PM »
I did a little tinkering the other night with a glow plug and noticed I have a high enough surface temperator to ignite propane.

Does anyone know of any LPG 12 vdc electric valves I could scavange?

Sounds like a much smarter way of building flame starter, but I need something that electricaly snaps open and closed fast.

Doug:

check your local hotrod shop, or rodder for a used nitrous solenoid valve, that should work on propane as well

flame on!
