Hi Doug,
The banjo is metric / same size as a benz... the oil line is British straight thread which is close to US 1/4" pipe ... a good hydraulic house will have the fittings... I retap it for 1/4" tapered pipe because it's close and it's what I have.

The black Banjo is Metric as well?

The local Bosche dealer doesn't know what it is but he match up an old used one with green paint I assume was a Lister part.

When you say British straighht thread do you mean the line is BSP?

Non of the local pipe bolt or hydraulic fitting supliers can match the line or have ever seen the fitting.

I'd realy rather not butcher things. I just want to make a modifed fitting that goes to JIC.

Do you have a Banjo bolt feeding oil to you Rocker arm is did you make something like this?

All injection threads will be Metric, oil line fittings 'should' be parallel BSP, but the Indians have a propensity for using what comes to hand, so they might be Gas thread, Conduit thread of even Brass or Cycle thread.

All of these are detailed on our website in the "Mechanical Tables" section.

1/8" gas was the most popular taper and parallel thread for oil lines on English engines.

The 1/8" refers to the ID of the pipe and bears no relationship with the thread or the fitting, be warned!
