Mini Petteroid parts needed
« on: January 02, 2007, 10:18:32 PM »
I need a fuel pump and injector for a 3.5 hp mini-petter from Ashwamegh.
Please let me know of any sources you can think of.
I got this machine from Joel at Power Solutions, He's left the trade, I think.
The good folks at Ashwamegh appeared helpful at first, but seem to have faded away, no email replies for a few months.
Thanks!
Steve

I'm trying to get someone to import a Petter long block assembly for me.
I'll let your know if i have somethign happening in a few days.

I do have a spare IP, not ready to part with it just yet depending on how the wind blows.

Whats wrong with the one you have?

it is unusual to need both on a mini petter///usually it is a part that has been thrown off during a run away///sid

I don't know what you got with your minis for factory filters Sid, but of the two I have one has a paper element in a rather frumpy looking oil furnace filter like housing and the other actulay looks like a cheap furnace filter housing inside and out. Safe bet these could accidiently let crude threw and ruin both.

Or just plain old dirt in the lines....

I've come to expect dirt every where now fouling things up.

I believe we confirmed all the Petters are using the same injector and IP...

Kubota part number 6A320-58862

Part name T-704 Assy Filter, fuel will give you a filter assembly with a blead that is simmilar enough to the metal Indian unit to mount using the original hoses and after you grind off the plastic tit it'll bolt onto the IP housing.

Its also ment for fuel oil, and has a clear platic housing that let you see the condition of the filter and and if there is water in the bowl....

Although they look the same the Mini petters use a smaller piston in the IP and a smaller injector...

There was a thread a while back where we matched the MICO part numbers for a mini and my bigger Petter.

Is a how mini is a mini?

I think it was a 6 hp unit?

Oh 3.5hp...
That is small.

My minis use a different part # than the full size petter... I think Mico has a range of sizes to pick from...

Cool.

I have tried a few people with contatcs in KOEL but the dealer network is a pain ( By the way those Arrow K series engines.... Probably a KOEL engine, they use first letter of the series at arrow to indiacte who built it ).

One guy left in Malaysia might be able to help and one more fellow I know inthe midle east I need to ask.
