Darren thank you so very much.   This is a new engine and we have not been able to fire it off. Worked on it all afternoon.
Engine keeps trying to kick back on us. Valves are currently set at  Intake = .008  Exhaust = .008
Will give it a shot first thing in the morning.  Thank you again.

Sounds like an injection issue.

Kick Back??  Can a diesel do that?

Be sure you're following through the cranking strokes.  KEEP cranking.  If it doesn't fire by the time your tongue gets wrapped around the gib key.  YOU set something up wrong.   ;D
7200 hrs on 6-1/5Kw, FuKing Listeroid,
Currently running PS-Kit 6-1/5Kw...and some MPs and Chanfas and diesel snowplows and trucks and stuff.

Today it fired off. Reset valves and followed through on the cranking strokes. (It does run.)
Have two tappets that don't rotate so we will have to look into that.

Thanx for all the info.

Check your injector(s) timing too.  It's a fairly easy job and you can bet they did't spend much time on that  at the factory.  I was shocked at how much mine was off.

Man, the 20/2 must be BIG!
How about a picture????

Best wishes,
Bruce
