Lister ts3 white smoke

(1/2) > >>

Nifinger:
Hi.
I have a lister ts3 that smokes white and smells of diesel.
I have had it disassembled and had the cylinder heads renovated by a professional.
I have adjusted the valves to 0.15
I have had new nozzle tips put in Lucas hl 140s 25D 881P2 and adjusted them to 206 bar by a professional.
Cylinders and piston look fine.
I have done a bump test and adjusted 0.81 0.83 0.89
The engine starts in 1 second.
I have tried removing all 3 nozzle pipes and turning them one at a time into a bottle and starting it on 2 cylinders. It just starts and still smokes white no matter which cylinder I do it on.
It has been running for 30 minutes with a 9Kw load and runs fine but smokes white.
I have changed the diesel.
I have absolutely no idea what to do?
Could it be air in the diesel after it has been running for 30 minutes?
Could it be because I have put superseed injectors in it?
I have not messed with the timing and the problem occurred after I had renovated the injectors and have therefore had to disassemble it and change parts.
Greetings from Denmark.

Now I have also tried installing a gravity feed tank so air is not the problem.
And the lift pump which is new. I led back to the tank gave lots of diesel in while I was driving with the other tank.

KC7NOA:
did you check the bore of the cylinders and the rings on the pistons?
Kinda sounds like motor oil burn

Nifinger:
I've never messed with pistons and cylinders on diesel engines before.
I didn't measure anything but I think it looked fine.
There were no vertical scratches on either the pistons or cylinders.
Wouldn't it smoke blue if it was oil?
Wouldn't it be hard to start if it lacked compression?
It also smells like unburned diesel.

KC7NOA:
leaking rings does not make for lack of compression to ignition ... but can.

i wonder about the injectors installed ...
i missed that you seem to have replaced them with "superseed" ...
they had good mist and proper brakeover? done by a profesinal is good .. im just asking if you seen the spray yourself.

the smoke is white .. then you state blue ...

iv always thought that white is a presence of water ( or an alcohol additive to the fuel )
Blue is motor oil or possibly unburnt fuel ..
black is definitely unburnt fuel ...

9kw seems abit heavy for a 3 cylinder .. but i guess it fine, i only have a SR2A(5kw) and a SL4 (10kw)...

Nifinger:
excuse my English.
the engine doesn't smoke blue and doesn't smell of burnt engine oil.
It smokes white and smells of unburned diesel.
I had set the injectors myself with a cheap injector tester.
I was unsure if I had done it correctly as it was still smoking white so I took them to a professional and had them checked.
It turned out that they were at 260 bar opening pressure.
So he set them to 206 bar while I watched and they had a nice spray pattern.
I have had them mounted on the engine with the pipes turned 180 degrees with the nozzles down in bottles and turned on the starter and they all 3 spray fine.
I subsequently bought a quality manometer so now my injector tester also works as it should.
I just found this online does this mean that the engine needs to be timed when changing from the old to the new model nozzles?

Inter-changeability: The two types of injector are completely inter-changeable and it is permissible to mix them on an engine set. However, it is recommended that the engine set is changed to the new type when servicing is due.
