Hello Ive recently bought a Lister Junior .There is a fault with the fuel pump ,which I thought was the actual pump .On the video I saw before I bought it,the lever no 134 in the manual, is going up and down ,which I thought was normal so I removed the pump to check the seals .Going back to the engine I found if I hold  the lever up ,it just drops once every revolution o the flywheel ,its not  forced down .So it wouldn t actually press the pump piston down .What I saw in the video must have been the piston spring pushing it back up Any ideas please .Stationary engines are new to me so its a steep learning curve . I`ve also seen drawings of how to inset a new string seal into the pump ,but the drawings must be of a pater type .There is no cap on the top of the piston and the piston is a good fit into the cylinder ,no way of inserting string .Can anyone tell me how to insert a new seal into mine Len
