Listeroid Engines / Re: Over speed

I thought at a couple points in the video it was turning excessively fast, over 1000. Maybe not.

Besides 'too fast'.....can anyone guess what RPM this unlucky engine achieves?

Always good to see project pics from your shop, nice work.

Very cool. If  you could post a video of it someplace, I'd like to hear it. My only disappointment is it's 1ph not 3ph but it will back up a home for sure.

I think that price is a give away. I've also never had the slightest problem spending other peoples money.
How can you go wrong? I'd so much less boring that the box store rattle traps with their buzzing die cast throw away engines.

It's cool. I'd buy it pronto before the other guy gets it.

Looks quite interesting, keep us posted with more details.

So no pics of the included lighthouse?

So single bearing head. Lots of work to run one with a CS. Top quality looking units for sure.

Wow, that's less than 50 miles from me......for a change. Nice rig!

Changfa Engines / Re: Chang-chai and ST head, deal? Or no deal?

A re-visit to this engine.....
Based on the video, can anyone make a guess as to the model and/or HP of this Changfa?
There is no indication on the engine ie numbers, etc as to model or size/hp of this unit.
Perhaps flywheel diameter is a guide?

Is there exciter and/or regulator equipment required for these?
Been looking for a 3ph head to power the shop machines during outage.
Where are you located?
