click on the insert image icon as it appears you did, you notice that the img/img in inside two sets of square brackets [ ] [ ]  separate them between the two sets & insert ypur image code between & that should do it.

Try these guys diesel electric service     http://www.diesel-electric.us/csparts.htm.      this is thier cs parts page. about #15 down the page, 8/1 crank main bearing housing. PN 008-02169. $65.00 looks like they have 12 in stock.  I don't see the crank gear unless it is the "idler pinion" third part from the top.  near the bottom of the page they show "crankshaft with pinion" maybe the same "pinion"? if not they do have the crank with pinion $369.00.  good luck.

I think you are doing a great thing there mike, wish i had some cash to pick one up, but unfortunately whenever things like this come along I'm strapped for cash. Besides I have to tool up for my new (to me) bridgeport mill, still working on the 20/2 omega & gen head, southbend 10L, '68 camaro, re-financing the house, & haven't even started on the power house yet. keep up the good work.

sry Tom, I don't have superpowers. :D

Is it possible to replace the bearings without removing the crankshaft?

The type of the TRB is 30311, right?

Yes but you have to take the flywheels off & then the brg carriers. the center main is a bush bearing so if i were to do it i would remove both flywheels first, then remove & replace the roller brgs one at a time to avoid the possibility of damaging the center bearing from having all the weight of the crank suspended on it alone. once the brg carrier is off you may have to reach thru from inside the crankcase with a brass punch to tap the brg off the crank.

Hi Wags,
to check the injector & pump pull the injector out, turn it over so the tip is facing up & re-secure it to the injector line & rock the fly wheel past the injection point & you can see the injector fire off a squirt of fuel, it should be a fine mist not a dribble or stream. NOW THIS IS IMPORTAINT !!! the fuel coming out of the injector is under very high pressure. It can & will spray fuel directly into your skin !!!  fuel is like a poison, so If this happens it will be nesesscary to amputate (cut off) what ever part of your body the fuel is sprayed into.  so use extreme  caution when doing this. heavy gloves & safety glasses would be an exellent idea. If you get the fine mist the next things to check are are fuel injection timing & compression. there are multiple threads on this forum about fuel timing these engines.

I'm not sure this is what you are looking for but here are the dimentions for the sliding motor mount bases that most guys use to try to mount a gen head.
