Listeroid Engines / How to autostart a CS 6/1?
« on: December 16, 2006, 10:07:07 PM »
Hi there,

I had a look at Sam's lister (warnepower.com) engines and managed to convince my friend to use one as addition to his solar system (in design phase). Welll he wants an autostart device that is controled by the power control unit. Sam promised to send me something on this as soon as he is back but my friend wants to go ahead now.

In order to make him still take a lister I need a solution on how to make an autostart device (and shut-off). Does anybody have plans, kits, ... to get this sorted out quickly?

Thanks
Edward

Gympie is awesome. Towoomba is great. Any more details available?

Thanks,

That is okay for me. I regulary visit retailers around Tweed Heads so a few minutes more to Nimbin is absolutely no problem.

Thanks,
Edward

Listeroid Engines / Looking for Lister engines in South East Queensland

As a turbomachinery engineer that has been building state of the art power plants all over the world I am fascinated by the lister engine and wonder where I could have the chance to look at one and see one running.

I live in South East Queensland and don't mind driving some miles to see one. Can anybody give me a contact/address? I have searched the forum, the yellowpages and Google but nothing in my area pops up.

I have a friend that lives of the grid and I am thinking about setting up a small independent power system together with a small hydro power plant and maybe some solar panels, backup batteris, ... Anything in this direction would be awesome.

Thanks,
Edward
