Lister Based Generators / Re: Motor Generator question

Were the old mainframes run off of anything other than 60Hz AC?

Street power was converted to 415Hz via a large ups system at the one I was involved with 20 years ago.

The mg set was 600 V  and lots and lots of batteries.

I fired it up today , tested for voltage and got 12 vac with the rheostat half way .
The story goes that this unit came from the engine room of a boat and was an auxiliary power for the battery charger.
It came to North America 30 plus years ago and has been in heated storage.
I changed the fluids and it started first pull, when the proper starting sequence was followed.

I have had an interest in Listers for quite some time now and have acquired a Petter AB1 3000 rpm with generator , It came with the operators handbook , but no info on the generator .Near as I can tell its 50 hz 220v 3000w , I was wondering if anyone can id the generator? And if it was a package unit from Petter?
The brass plate shown below the rheostat is a warning about flash testing. The black frame and wheels were added later.

Thanks

Wally
