Listeroid Engines / found a 6-1
« on: October 12, 2021, 03:59:04 PM »
The brand is Anil and it was made by G.G Automotive gears LTD in 12-1999. it has a compression adjust valve and grease cap rocker shaft and 4 bolt head. Its has the wrong governor spring and runs too slow at maybe 300-400 RPM. It does not hop excessively when I speed it up. I assume it was never used for work but in shows. It is 20 miles from home and the owner got it a year ago from a farmer and wants $2500 for it. Anyone know anything about the brand?  Thanks for any input.

Things I want to Buy / 6-1 parts
« on: October 08, 2019, 05:09:19 PM »
Hello all I overheated my 6-1 and used my spare head gasket. I seem to have damaged the fuel nozzle as it squirts a stream now. I also see much less compression probably from a thicker head gasket. I am looking to buy a few nozzles, some head gaskets and an adjustable decompression valve to raise compression for starting. I cant seem to find parts anywhere. Does anyone know how to get parts? Thank you

Things I want to Buy / Parts sources

Hello I am wondering if anyone knows where to find the whole rocker arm assembly. the mounting block, shaft and rocker arms and replacement bushings. My rocker arms are quite sloppy on the shafts and the shafts themselves wiggle easily enough even though all nuts and bolts are tight. Engine is a powersolutions 6-1 made in 2005. thank you.

Listeroid Engines / fieldmarshal search

I was looking into the current state of this brand as I have the 12-2 and found this. I found it amusing but hope mine don't "blast in to many pieces" like this. I have only replaced some parts to get it running but it seems to be a good one. The 6-1 powersolutions generator I built for my remote camp has proven to be a great choice. It powers the refrigerator and pumps as well as provides domestic hot water and heats the cabin on 4 gallons a day running nonstop while I'm there. The sound it makes is so cool. I remember a friend brought a buddy over on snowmobiles and when he saw my camp and took off his helmet and heard that listeroid he had a curious look on his face then busted out laughing. I'm pretty sure no other generator would have caused that reaction.

Listeroid Engines / Greetings from northern Michigan
« on: February 20, 2008, 06:06:46 AM »
Hello everyone I have been reading this forum for 2 years and used it to find both of my engines. I first picked up a PS jkson 6-1 that was new but not ran from the original buyer and built a generator unit with a st-5. Much of what was needed to do to improve the engine I had learned about from this forum and now it serves me well as a cogeneration system for the camp Im building deep in the forest in the upper peninsula. It may be pushing the limits as far as cold weather starting in that its not used daily but rather only when I go north. Last week I arrived and was able to start it without too much trouble despite it being 5 degrees outside. It ran for a week and powered tools and lights and Im thrilled with its efficiency and low noise.

The other engine is a field marshall 12-2  and st-10 they were both in a fire and with a lot of cleaning and decarbonizing the top ends and 2 new fuel pumps and injectors and some minor parts the motor runs and Im about to begin the fun part of building the base and plumbing and wiring. It will be a standby generator for my house and also i will experiment with it. This is a practical and rewarding hobby for me and this forum is a useful  resource. regards Brian
