Defentely this is an adiction!

Injection pump dismantled; injector too, change over valve on the way, valves and guides also, rocker assembly dito.

IP with heavy gunk; valve guides pretty worn; valves lapping will be ok; rockers must have new bushes; change over valve needs lapping too.

A few pics for the addicts.

Gentles.

After some cleaning, saturday on the ute, only monday morning could had help with tractor fork to put it down.

A preliminary pressure washer bath, it reveals some layers of paint - definitely it had a very tough life. (Hence I rather like the stationary from olive oil presses - one life... one story).

This one will be dificult to retrive its full history - a few owners and other souls we cant maybe discover.

Odds & Ends: At first glance: crank main bushes, exhaust rocker bush, both valves to lap or... (let me pull head);

Number plate from 1937... and flys and crank from 1949. what a hell!!!!! Huummm....

Already started to disassemble it... put some wd40 in throat to see his lungs. pressure make it drip down piston; maybe some carbon in rings or worn.

A few pics to the audience.

Gentles,

A few days ago tell you I was after a Lister CD engine.

Remeber the other I lost in 2021?

This one had a diferent life. It powerd a field grain thresher - pics will be added.

A 1000KM round trip to up north of country with old pickup and it ended to be flat grounded with load. The kart is very heavy.

It is a 1937 engine, and now it will have some rest. No more dust swallowed! Just noise, dripping some oil and a few morons staring at it!

Pics will be added along.

Merry Christmas to you and crew too.

Thanks for the manual. Got to register....again at Internal Fire Museum (site was down for days) and they got 2 books.

I need some more specs such as torque values. But I will follow <Peter & Rita Forbes> a unvaluable loss.

Let me first make the deal, and if so Ill start a new thread.

Don't worry, there's no stupid questions, only stupid answers!

take a look at here: https://listerengine.com/smf/index.php?topic=8320.msg106204#msg106204.

Butch aka 38AC says a 1/4" is a good gap from flyboss to main bearing.

Gentles,

Had been a while this thread is idling but not halted.

Pulleys in place and aligned, and belts stretch.

Handle bar is also in place too.

Gave it a run to see the voltage and it is at 250ish.

Needs more tweaking and got to sort out the muffler in order to silent it.

A few pics to showoff.
