Here are a few of the 6 to 1 SOM with cast base.

I have been corrected on my posting of the LT1, as it is apparently the older LD1.

Thanks for viewing and any feedback!

Thanks Schwen!

I will post in order presented.

I have some video of a few of these units I can send forth as well if an interested buyer wants a better view/listen.

My standard 6 to 1 is currently on at ebay auction and I have posted a full complement of pics both external and internal highlighting, if nothing else, its general cleanliness.

Here are a few general pics of the 8 to 1 SOM engine.

Let's see if this works...

Lister Market Place (things for Sale) / Lister CS collection for sale
« on: April 04, 2013, 10:36:00 AM »
Gentlemen/Aficionados/fellow slow-speed addicts,

I am selling my small collection.

The units I have left are:
1 x Genuine Lister CS 6 to 1.  $3000
1 x Genuine Lister CS 6 to 1 SOM (heavy flywheels) with original cast base.  $3500
1 x Genuine Lister CS 8 to 1 SOM engine only.   $3500
1 x Genuine Lister LT1   $1100

Items are located in TX.

I have reconditioned, rebuilt, and 'patched up' each as and where necessary so that they each run brilliantly. The flywheels, heads, cranks, crankcases, in fact most everything (excepting a cylinder, piston/rings, main or crank bearings depending on the unit) are all original.

Replacement parts are Indian, of the highest quality spec, sourced from the likes of:
deisel-electric.us
stationaryengineparts.com
justliveoffgrid.com
generatorsales.com

I have detailed lists of the repair process and replacement parts for each which I will be happy to share with the new owner.

I have done the hard work and left the tedious work (paint/concealer) for the individual more minded towards aesthetics.

These lovely unsecure-object-grabbing mules are ready to work!

Please feel free to PM or email me for more information @ onesell2014@gmail.com

Thanks

PS I would be happy to post some pics if someone would be kind enough to enlighten me on the process?

Forgive my ignorance. Can someone more savvy than myself tell me if I would have any problem dropping a powerline/anand cylinder and head from a roid onto an original crank case with original flywheels, crank, and con rod?

I suppose another/better question would be: which parts are not interchangeable? I understand a new crank would be necessary for tapered bearings but what else might I be overlooking?

Thanks in advance.

Lister Based Generators / 6 and 8/1 SOM's vs. other

These come with 2.5 and 4.5kw gennys respectively. My question to anyone who would be kind enough to share is...can they do better than this as far as power production is concerned? IE: if I was returning to the US with a unit, would I be better off with a SOM setup with the larger flywheels or some smaller spoked ones?

thanks in advance!
