Well Tom, what kind of base/frame are you using?  I am thinking about mounting a 3/8" metal plate on a triangular-shaped frame made of beefy wooden beams.  One of the forum participants mentioned that the triangular shape would be extremely stable because it would be impossible for any one of the corners to be higher than the other.  And I am hoping that the wood will dampen the vibration a bit.  The triangular shape would also permit me to hook up a trailer tongue and axle so that I could (carefully) tow it to different sites on our property where we need power.  Until we get a permanent installation, I'll probably hook up some kind of a electric-fan/radiator scheme for cooling.  Eventually, I'd like to use a 55-gal barrel and heat-exchanger scheme to augment our in-floor hydronic heating system.

Have a great Christmas, my friend!  By the way, what state do you live in?

Eric

Hi!  I am sure that this information is out there somewhere but I couldn't find it too easily so I ask for your forgiveness in advance!  What are the spacing and dimensions for the bolt holes for these motors?  I've got two in crates but due to the way they are being stored and other logistical matters such as the fact that I am pretty much having to work out of a broom closet and I'm going to have to hire a guy with a Bobcat to move them, I won't have the opportunity to uncrate these motors much in advance of their move right onto the frame I'll have ready for them.

Thank you very much for your help!

Eric from Nikishka Bay, Alaska

Hi,

I received two 6/1's with the markings MK Engineers on the outside of the crate.  Is that the manufacturer?  Anybody know anything about them???

Thanks!
