The isolators I currently use are made by Karman and were purchased through Acklands/Graiger.
Below is the drawing I made to incorporate the Karman isolator into my engine base design.

Also below is the softer "Navy" isolator I was intending to try on the listeroid.They are from Lord Isolators.

I should note that the Karman isolators were marginal in perforance. They did prevent my garage pad from cracking but they still allowed a thumping force to travel through the ground to my house.
In the case of Changfa type engines, the cylinder is horizontal so the combustion forces are sideways vs. vertical like the lister, so ground thumping is eliminated.

So would you recommend putting in a pre filter ahead of the Racor? And I'm assuming the Racor filter needs to be placed lower than my fuel tank?

 I'm looking at getting a "better" fuel filter system for my Perkins 402d-05 engine. Currently, I have the typical pleated filter in the little plastic housing (with the shut off lever) but was looking at a genuine Perkins filter set up. I was all set to buy this an noticed in the description that is said..."complete secondary fuel filter". So now I'm confused. Do I need an additional fuel filter in my system? This was going to be my primary (and only) filter.

Thanks Henry, A single bearing head never crossed my mind. When the time comes (hopefully in a month or 2) I'll look into it more. I already have the stub shaft mounted but it does seem like it would be easier to just direct bolt the gen head to the engine. BTW, come to think of it the original gen head was a direct bolt on so single bearing is making more sense.

I've had these engines/ST heads for over 10 years now and am finally getting around to doing something with them. I bought a Redstone from John F, built an I-beam platform for it and put an ST on it but never hooked anything up. I just wrapped it up and put in storage. I did the same thing for the Listeroid I bought from George @Uttepower. I'm finally to the point in my life that I can start working on these. So much to do though. I still have to reassemble  my '73 Ford F100 and rebuild the transmission on my '74 ford Econoline and lets not forget about my '72 Vega Wagon that I want to restore to its original condition (I'll be keeping the original 4 cyl engine). Oh.. and then there's the 11115 Laidong and the '86 Turbo Diesel Jetta.

Yes my engine has about a 4 inch deep oil pan. I did not know there were other size oil pans. Why would that make a difference ?

I keep getting a warning from Malware bytes about Microcogen. I know it was hacked awhile ago. Is the site safe and I can ignore the warning?

Yes, I will be running my Cat at about 2400-2600 rpm. Can't remember the exact rpm but I remember having a pully made to coincide with the Cat's maximum torque.

I'm still a little confused about derating an older style ST head. It is my understanding that you derate so as to not burn up the genhead but since this head is so massive I'm somewhat confused. I don't think I'll ever pull 7.5kw from my house but I am just curious.

I also bought mine from John along with a Redstone. Both have been setting in my garage for..10-12 years (lost track of time). They are lined up next to my Listeroid. I'm now to the point in my life I can start working on all of these..1 at a time.

I built up a Cat/ST head a few years ago but was not happy with the vibration. I just tore it down and am going to make a new stand for it. Once that's done I'll do my 3 Cyl Kubota with the Stamford clone gen head. then..... I'll get on that Laidong. Just spent a few weeks insulating my garage, fixing my torpedo heater and cleaning up, so now I'll be able to work during the winter.
