General Discussion / OSL and Youtube

Our dear old friend Willie, banned from this site for trying to scam people with his listeroids and making unrealistic clains about how good there are has been at it again.....

Perhaps some of the senior members here would like to toss out a few comments.

I don't like people who scam, the 100,000 hour listeroid is a foolish myth and OSL roids are no worse or better than anyone elses, just a lot more expensive....

General Discussion / Food bank
« on: January 10, 2010, 09:34:56 PM »
Friday I was at the local food bank trying to put a cooler into service and repair some lighting.
The food bank is located in an old grocery store and the wiring is a mess. This is done intentionally, sabotage to ensure another independent grocer doesn't moves in.

What I saw in there moved me to tears.
The store now has 3 sections a play center for kids and free toys to take home, a yard sale where items are sold to raise money. A used clothing area and of course the food section.

The main meat cooler was not well stacked and I noticed some of the food was 1 year into its expiring date.

From my perch high up I could see kids trying shoes and parrents trying coats. I saw people I know....

If you have the financial means please remember the people in your community, your neighbors, your friends some of whom are too proud to admit they are in trouble are using these places in record number and the shelves are thin. If you a person with skills and a little free time many of these places need repairs, If you just have a little free time there are bags of food or clothing in places like where I was that could use sorting. If you have kids clothing there is probably something in a drawer some place your kids don't wear anymore please don't throw it out.

There are a lot of people out there in need these days.
And thank you for your time and efforts because I know a lot of you already have done generous things already but you might not have been thanked.

Tijean dropped by today to see me with a Coleman lantern in need of fixing.

After a few hours of tinkering he now has a nice flicker free 236 that sghould be good for years to come. We also had nice chat about Listeroid and Petteroid engines.

Thank you for the Dozen farm fresh real eggs and look forward to next time your in town so we can have a cup of coffee again.

Fine people on this forum I wish more of use could get together and meet.

I have a little Chinese clone of a Keihen PZ19 carb.

I'm not particularly familiar with these carbs and never tuned anythign that had air bleed screws, jets and metering rods  ect.
I'm a Tilley carb kindof guy....

Where can I find a manual that explains the bet way to adjust this and where do you find jets?

General Discussion / Champion generator
« on: August 22, 2009, 01:56:34 AM »
I picked up a new Champion 3800 watt generator on trade for some work. I'm told it ran fine and worled fine but the battery charging circ was not functioning. Then a flood in the shop ( that does not seem to have reacht he gen head on this unit ) and the unit was scrapped.

Looks like a simple generator and although the engine would be handy as parts for my mini bike ( don't laugh it was almost free too ) I would like to see a print of this. Does anyopne have any leads on where I can find prints for it? Is it even worth my while I never owned or worked on this brand ( looks kind of like an old Honda )

Doug

Never mind my wife found this for me

Upon closer inspection of the wiring diagram. This was designed for monkeys to fix. And I was afraid of another horifying Honda brushless set the kind I used to see back in the 90s when carbon brushes went out of fassion.
