Wanted Original Lister factory manufactured Diesel MARK Cs 3-1, Cs 5-1 or CD powered Generating Plant (Gen Set).
 Radiator cooled direct coupled or V-belt driven.
In Good to like new or restored condition.

Hello All

After seeing my Lister CD genset a good friend of mine would like a slow speed diesel should I tell him to get a Lister CS, as my Lister CD is tuff to find parts for, I’m lucky I only need a few parts.

Would you advise him to buy a real Lister or a clone? We are from Michigan USA his intentions are only to run it for enjoyment or maybe convert to a stand by genset.

D him He asked why I went to all the expenses and trouble to import when I could have bought a new unit made by poweranand sold by central main diesel.

I told him that the talk was poor quality sand in crank case ect from India he tells me the dealer says not so one can run engines from poweranand right out of the box.

What  is the members feedback ?
