Lister Market Place (things for Sale) / Lovson 20/2 engine for sale
« on: June 06, 2012, 05:26:08 AM »
Lovson 20/2 engine is for sale.
The engine is in parts due to an early freeze last year. I don't have much free time to tinker; new Job and things.......
I have ordered a new replacement part to for the damage cylinder jacket that split. Not a big deal to fix, just time...
Lots of care went into this engine, chrome push rods, oil filter assembly. Polishing and balancing.
The engine may have 30 hrs run time on it.
I am hand packing the engine in its parts, it will be a great buy for someone who has time for it.
The first 1,250.00 + shipping gets it.

The ST-15 is also for sale....

Regards, Robert

Engines / Engine Specifications
« on: March 09, 2007, 01:40:06 AM »
Here is the situation:

The engine in is a listeroid 20/2. The issue is, I was told that the pistons are not the right size for the cylindes. The pistons have 120.85 stamped on the head and the cylinders mic out at 121.50. Can someone tell me the correct distance of gap between the piston and the cylinder wall. I am getting alot of information but I want to hear it here. I am scheduled to enlarge the cylinder .004 more tomorrow 03--9-07. Thanks  :)

Listeroid Engines / Lister flywheel removal
« on: February 24, 2007, 06:09:20 AM »
I am sure there is a trick to removing these big flywheels. I made a jig out of 1/4" plate steel used 4 grade 8 bolts 1/2" thick.Tapped the plate and mounted the jig up to the flywheel. I kept the jig small but despite my efforts  :( I put so much pressure on th gib key it bent the jig plate . I have knocked out the paint and put some oil on the gib key area. I wish the flywheel had holes in it like the petters model. Is there some special order of operation? I pulled straight out on that key and all it did was crack the paint off it(a little).
suggestions and  ideas ???
Thanks,
Rob
