hi all
i just received my generator mount from graingers today. at $62.00 it is a very well built base for an st generator and it fits like a glove. i would definately recommend this mountif you dont feel like fabricating your own.
p.s. nothing is bolted together yet. i am just setting up everything on my frame and checking the fit.

Listeroid Engines / new project new pics
« on: November 21, 2006, 01:08:01 AM »
      Hello All

I am new to the forum but have been reading since about may. started out searching the internet for a quad, saw a site about a guy building a diesel motorcycle and thought about buying a small diesel engine and building something around it. then link, link, link and i linked to listers and changfa engines. so i found a changfa 195 with a 7kw gen head and purchased it in june. i still had the lister fever and finally found 1 and went to pick it about 4.5 hours away on 11-3-06 so the project begins. i will post pictures of my project as i move along with it. probably in january as i have a real crazy work schedule. pictures are as follows, picking up the engine in massachusetts, off loaded into my garage, partially uncrated and last but not least a picture of the crickett bat that came with the engine.
this is my first try at the pictures so dont fault me to much if its not right. i tried coppermine but that didn"t work. i will post more pics as my project progresses. i have since these pics. partially made the frame, pulley and belt and now have a cooling tank. i may be looking for quick connect hoses for it if i can find the hardware for it
