Lister Market Place (things for Sale) / Lister electric start LT1 in the USA

Going a different route, so I am putting my LT1 Lister Diesel up for sale.  Variable throttle, electric start, runs good.  Located in Kokomo, Indiana USA.  Asking $495 obo.   I just spent nearly that for the engine mounted fuel tank, it will be included once it arrives from the UK.   Excellent engine for remote power source or whatever you need a fuel sipping engine to power.

Engines / More running the LT1

Another short video of my LT1 running.  I put a temporary exhaust extension on the muffler.  Am I missing some cylinder cooling tinwork that should be over the cylinder fins on the camshaft side of the engine?   Or does the engine mounted fuel tank help with directing the cooling air toward the injector pump.  Seems like most of the cooling air comes out on the side facing us in the video and its cold, ie not really cooling the cylinder.  If I put a space piece of metal over that and direct the air toward the injector pump, its nice and warm, so doing its cooling job.   Gave her a good throttle up a couple times.

Lister Based Generators / How big of a gen head can a LT1 manage?

My Lister LT1 is going to be to heavy for what I had planned to use it for.  So now I either sell/trade it off or use it for something.  Can these run a decent size 120v AC gen head without having to run at full RPM(which would be as noisy as my gas gen set).  I know they are not a CS engine with slow rpm, but what are the LT1's able to manage being a small diesel?   Thanks  Mike

Anybody in the states have a model D Lister complete and running for sale?   Closer to Indiana the better or able to be brought to one of the Portland show/swap meets in Portland Indiana.

Engines / Finally got time to get my LT1 running after over a year

I bought this engine over a year ago at a huge swap meet here in Indiana USA.  Was complete but set up for remote fuel tank as it was on a traffic arrow sign trailer.  I finally found my test tank, off a small Kohler gas/petrol engine.  So I rigged it up and low and behold she fired right up.  Send run after this she was even more stable on rpm.  She does have variable throttle control.  Now I need a proper Lister engine mounted fuel tank complete with cap and all under tank fittings in place.  Any help with that one?  I have been striking out everywhere.  I have paypal at the ready.   Here is the short video of her running.

Things I want to Buy / Fuel tank and crank handle for LT1 diesel, also looking for a model D in the USA

Hello, I recently bought a LT1 diesel that came off a traffic arrow board trailer.  I am looking for the proper engine mounted fuel tank, crank handle and the plug for the port where you add oil to aid in start up.    I am also looking for a complete model D engine that is already in the states(shipping a whole engine from the UK is very expensive).   Thanks    AD
