This is the one small air cooled diesel that will fit under the hood of my Wheelhorse.  Having trouble locating one in the USA since imports of new are ^*^*&$ banned!!   The 6hp version that I can get new, is just a bit to all.  My max height is 17 inches.  From what I can tell, even with the fuel tank and bracket removed and silancer removed, its still to tall, only the smaller 4 hp will fit(I have fitted one previously years ago).   Any sources that might have one of these smaller air cooled clones on the shelf?    Mike

Petteroids / Is a Petter AA1 smaller in size than the AC1?

I have been unable to find dimensions online as of yet.   Wanting to know if the Petter AA1 is smaller in size than the AC1.   I used to have the AC1 and am familiar with its size and I have the  spec sheet for that model.   Thanks  Mike

Hello everybody.  I am looking for a Petter AA1 diesel for a Wheelhorse repower project.  Needs to have the full speed pto keyed output shaft.    Can be running or non running condition as long as its complete.   I know most do not have electric start, but have seen a couple that did have it.  Either is ok.     Thanks  Mike
